Аарон Бентли, один из главных разработчиков Bazaar и автор BundleBuggy (http://bundlebuggy.aaronbentley.com/) анонсировал новый проект Cart (как видно из названия – это перевертыш Trac):

Hi all,

I may be off my rocker, but I've decided to put together a Trac competitor.

I'm the current maintainer of trac+bzr, and my feeling is that Trac and
Bazaar are too different to ever support a clean, fast experience. And
there are also a few things I think could be improved about Trac's bug
tracking system.

Differences from Trac

- “priority” refers to the order that issues will be dealt with.
- no wiki functionality (unless someone can explain why it belongs there)
- Branches and tickets may belong to “subprojects”, which are used for
grouping purposes. In the Bazaar project, bzr might be one subproject,
and bzr-gtk might be another.
- Bugs may be associated with revisions that introduced the issue and
revisions that resolved the issue
- Bugs may have dependencies on other Bugs.


Relationship to other projects

Launchpad: competitor. If launchpad were open source, Cart wouldn't
make as much sense.
Loggerhead: plan to share code with Loggerhead, once we've whipped
something usable up.
Trac: steal ideas

В этой вики удобно хранить документацию и различные заметки к проекту. В тексте коммита можно использовать wiki-words, которые в траке превратятся в ссылки на вики. Удобно. Мы траковской вики активно пользуемся.

Однако откуда взялся турбогирс - я в тексте анонса не увидел о нем ни одного упоминания…

В этой вики удобно хранить документацию и различные заметки к проекту. В тексте коммита можно использовать wiki-words, которые в траке превратятся в ссылки на вики. Удобно. Мы траковской вики активно пользуемся.

Мне тоже траковская вики нравится. Я думаю для TurboGears есть какой-то готовый движок вики. Попробую прикрутить.

Да я уже скачал сырцы и поглядел.. С другой стороны bundlebuggy тоже на нем написан, поэтому это как раз ожидаемый ход от Аарона.

I've made a lot of progress with Cart, the Trac alternative I've been
working on.

I've been able to implement:
- milestones
- subprojects
- dependencies (partial)
- estimate tracking
- filtering timeline by milestones and / or subprojects
- - sorting issues and milestones by priority, not severity
