IT company is looking for a back-end Python engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Define architecture and implement a scalable back-end for the web portal.
  • Participate in API definition between the front-end and back-end of the web portal.
  • Integrate web-site's front-end with the back-end according to APIs.
  • Develop and document software design documentation.
  • Communicate and collaborate (by teleconferences) with the US-based team.

Requirements:

  • MS/BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of building highly scalable back-end systems using Python, Django, and SQL databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience of working with large data sets and dealing with problems at scale.
  • Experience with one of SCM tools (svn/cvs/git/hg).

    • Desired:

    • Prior experience with using virtualization systems (VMWare ESX, ESXi).
    • Knowledge of networking – VPN, firewall, switching, routing, WAN/LAN, IDS/IPS systems.
    • Fluent written and intermediate spoken English.
