Technical competencies - Required

• • Have proven experience in building Django based web applications
• • Know PostgreSql beyond the level of creating databases and tables
• • Have experience with PHP-Doctrine-MySql applications
• • Have worked on multi server environments, involving load balancing, replications, caching
• • Have server side experience in basic configuration, basic bash programming
• • Be familiar with version control systems (svn, git, mecurial)
• • Write clean self-documenting code
• • Be self-managed, proactive and flexible
• • Be OK with getting into frontend development for a "direct" interaction with client-side code
• • At least 3 years experience in Web Application Development

Technical competencies - Desired

• • Moderate level of skill with both the Apache HTTP server and nginx
• • Good understanding of the Model-View-Controller pattern
• • Good understanding of the ActiveRecord Object-Relational-Mapping pattern
• • Familiarity with Agile software development practices (Scrum)
• • E-commerce
• • Agile development experience
• • Worked on or affiliated with open source projects
• • Fully read Code Complete
• • Be familiar with Rabbitmq, Celery and apache wsgi setups, south migrations and solr
