GoalHub (https://www.goalhub.io) is dedicated to develop management tools that allow small and large companies and teams alike to collaborate effectively and deliver results efficiently. GoalHub is implemented as a web based application and its backend is programmed with Python (Flask) and CouchDB. It can be used on-the-cloud or on-premise. We are currently seeking to strengthen the team in St. Petersburg with a

Experienced Python Developer

Your responsibilities will include:
Backend coding including database and API’s implementation in Python
Database coding (NoSQL)
Performance optimization in a distributed setup
Implementation of payments processing and integration through APIs with other services
Quality of code including reviews, automated test procedures, documentation

Ideally you bring (desired skills):
Experience with NoSQL databases such as CouchDB
Flask
Elasticsearch
Redis
Docker

We expect that you are able to familiarize yourself with existing code, write code, and make design decisions independently. Over time your work areas can be expanded for example with implementation of System Administration utilities. While the development happens in Russia, we expect that you write all code in English, that you can communicate well in written English (write and read) and ideally speak some English.

In your application, please specify how many years of development experience you have and describe some of the most complex work you have done to date. We are also interested in your own motivation, i.e., please describe what your passions with respect to coding are.
